GEOLOGIA EM REVISTA - SUAS TERMINOLOGIAS OBSOLETAS E MODERNAS PROLEGÔMENOS     Evolução do homem - do símio ao Homo sapiens . *********************************************          A Geologia como ciência, de certa maneira, podemos afiançar que surgiu com o Homo sapiens ,   no que corresponde atualmente ao continente africano há 200.000 anos a.P., com suas primeiras observações do ambiente natural e suas devidas ilações. Obviamente que os ancestrais do H. sapiens também já deviam fazer suas observações a repeito daquilo que os intrigavam.     Nesta seção vamos apresentar a terminologia geológica, na forma de um glossário ilustrado, colocando desde os termos considerados obsoletos até a terminologia atual. Termo obsoleto é algo bastante relativo, pois no meu entender os vocábulos não envelhecem, apenas deixam de serem utilizados no vernáculo.   Então pessoas, desejo-lhes um aprazível mergulho nos significados da Ciência.        Prof. PhD.
